Welcome to Clarksdale Public School – Home of the Wolves!

Dear Clarksdale Families,

I am thrilled to welcome you to 2025 at Clarksdale Public School! As your principal, I am honoured to lead this vibrant and caring school community, where students, staff, and families work together to inspire learning, celebrate success, and create a strong sense of belonging.

For those who don’t know me yet, I’m Jay Poitras, the new principal of Clarksdale Public School. Over the past few weeks, I’ve heard so many wonderful stories about the incredible students, dedicated staff, and supportive families that make this school so special. I’ve already moved in and fully intend to stay for many years to come. Stability is important for our community, and I am excited to grow alongside all of you.

It is also my absolute pleasure to partner with Mrs. Benita Nafekh, whose energy and commitment to Clarksdale are unmatched. Together, we are ready to support our Wolves in achieving their best, both in the classroom and beyond.  As we embark on this journey, please know our doors are always open. We value your ideas, feedback, and partnership in ensuring every child thrives. Whether you’re stopping by during drop-off, joining a school event, or reaching out with questions, we look forward to connecting with you and building a strong, united community.
